Job Description:
- The basics:
- Customer support and communications
- During scheduled hours you will be the primary point of contact for chat support, phone, email, and social media inquiries from customers.
- Passenger Transportation:
- Ready to jump in and operate as a ride-hailing driver on the Coastal Rides platform
- Delivery services
- Ready to jump in and complete delivery requests on the Coastal Rides platform
- Business outreach and development
- When you don’t have ride requests, you will reach out to local businesses to help build awareness of our delivery options and work to get them to list their menu in the Coastal Rides app.
Once you have that mastered, growth opportunities include:
- Setting up business accounts in the app system
- Social and digital marketing support
- Training and on boarding new drivers
- Advancement opportunities as the company grows including administration, management, and software development.

- You are a stickler for safety and following the rules.
- You are looking for an opportunity where you can hustle to make things happen
- You are technologically savy
- You have a knack for customer service and making people feel comfortable
- You are comfortable making cold calls and engaging with business owners and managers
- You take what you are doing seriously but don’t take yourself too seriously
- Willingness to to adhere to our Covid-19 safely plan and wear face covering when necessary
- You currently live on the Coast and have stable housing where you can work from home while not out in the community
- You are a great communicator, written and spoken
Requirements:
- Class 4 drivers license (or the ability to obtain within a few weeks of starting)
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Able to pass criminal record and vulnerable sectors check
- Physically able to carry items for delivery and assist passengers including passengers with mobility issues
- Ability to work full time and with long shifts
- Able to juggle multiple tasks without dropping anything
Anticipated compensation includes base salary plus commission.
- Includes a base salary to cover your time being responsible for covering customer support functions.
- Rides and delivery commissions for the transportation services you perform.
- Share of profits generated from deliveries for businesses you bring to the platform.
This will either be a staff role, or could be done by someone who wants to join as a freelancer. We expect this to be a full-time+ role with flexibility for someone working on other projects while covering customer support. Expect $2,500 to $5,000+ per month.
